You know I was thinking of getting this book especially as I'm currently reading one on the film. I reckon I'm sold now!

I watched Blood Simple last night...I errrr kinda liked it. I didn't think I would but it was only £2 in a bargain basement sale so I thought I'd give it a go.

Kind Of a Film Noir - I liked the dodgy Texas Private Eye/Assassin/Dope smoker and the film kept me well entertained. Doesn't hold up particularly brilliantly considering it was made in '83 so it does look a bit dated but all in all good fun if ya bored etc.

6.5/10

Exorcist The Beginning

I guess it was okay...But, it was a bit too 'Indiana Jones' for me...Not really my style....I'm gonna have to throw it in there with the Mummy movies that Brendan Fraser is in...

To be honest I honestly had never come across it before, as Isaid though I really enjoyed it last night. Got it at a bargain price too - all smiles here!

House of 9

"House on Haunted Hill" meets "Saw" in House of 9. Nine people are kidnapped and secluded in an elegant, but barred up house (???). Last one alive leaves with 5 million dollars. Okay, this movie sucked more than Paris Hilton in Nine Lives! First of all, tha acting was terrible (including Dennis Hopper). The characters were cardboard cut-outs who I'd piss on if I met them! I didn't give a rat's ass about anybody! Directing is bad! Everything is bad about this flick! The only thing worse than this is Son of the Mask! A must-avoid!

Saw 2

Atmosphere isn't close to the first one, still pretty good. Liked that Jigsaw had a bigger role, best actor in the movie imo.

War of the worlds (2005)...this one was bad..no continuity...some of the worst I have seen from Spielberg...its like Spielberg have seen "Signs" (M. Night Shyamalan) and decided to do it even worse than that.... 2,5/10
