LEONARD COHEN: MORE BEST OF --- Leonard Cohen
12 SONGS --- Neil Diamond Before you clog your nostrils laughing your guts out this is the extended two disc edition with an alternate version of Diamond's "Delirious Love" performed as a duet with Brian Wilson. Worth every penny.

Just picked up Dirty Projectors' new record Bitte Orca, which is pretty great. They've really streamlined their sound; avant-garde rock/R&B filtered through conventional songwriting. Very impressive. I think this might be the best album of the year for me so far.

SITUATION any good? Buck 65 (Rich Terfry) is the host of a radio program I listen to in the afternoon at work. Only familiar with one song of his, the one with something about "ain't got no culture; dirty words but they don't count."

I've yet to give Situation a listen just yet, but I'll let you know as soon as I do. I've been a fan of his for a long while now, but I only know assorted songs - never actually listened to a full album. Highly recommend checking him out though, if you're into this kind of music. A few tracks I'd suggest: Wicked and Weird http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wyyVh3uc5Y Surrender to Strangeness http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I67MoB9_Djk (Couldn't find a good video - best I could do) Kennedy Killed the Hat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oKYuOITDQk I'll probably give Situation a good going over tomorrow...will let you know how it is.
