Nice. The show, for the most part, holds up great. Some episodes still just bowl me over.

The Walking Dead-Impossible not to LOL at Andrew Lincoln (not his real name) from Teachers attempting to do an american? accent. He will always be remembered for the scene in Teachers when he shares the spliff with his policewoman girlfriend.

The Killing
And the killer is....... SPOILERS Terri, Rosie's Aunt. Here's how it went down: In the beginning of the episode Jamie reveals to Richmond that Rosie had witnessed a conversation between himself, Ames, and Nicole (The owner of the Wapi Casino) at the casino about plans to plant indian bones at the waterfront to disrupt Adam's plan for the mayoral race so that Richmond could become Mayor, Ames could build a business for his own and Nicole could get a casino on the waterfront or something like that, i wasn't very interested in this storyline. As they were leaving, Jamie heard Rosie's cell phone ring, found her and after a struggle Rosie was knocked out and thought dead. Jamie then brought her out to the forest to get rid of the body when she woke up and ran off. Jamie chased her and once again knocked her out thinking she was dead. At this point, you think the killer is Jamie and Linden and Holder show up to arrest him, he pulls a gun on them and Holder shoots and kills him. When Liden and Holder go to the Larsen residence to inform them that they got the killer, they see Terri's car with a broken taillight which they knew was involved in the killing. (I honestly had forgotten about this information since they threw so many different things at you, it was hard to keep straight. Definitely a bad point of making the mystery go on so long) They confront her and she reveals that after Jamie had knocked out Rosie, he called Ames who was with Terri at the time. The two of them showed up and Ames and Jamie started arguing. Ames told Jamie that he didn't want to go through with it and that he wasn't going to leave with Terri anymore due to the new development. Not wanting to lose her boyfriend and her new life, Terri pushed the car with Rosie in the trunk into the river not knowing that Rosie was inside nor that she was still alive. She reveals this with Mitch and Stan listening and Stan tries to attack her. They pull him off and arrest her. END OF SPOILERS I have to say that i was very surprised and pleased with the reveal and the episode as a whole. They spent a lot of time wrapping things up and providing great closure and the final scene was extremely touching. The whole thing was so well done that i've decided that i'm actually going to check out the next season. I think if they keep it to one murder a season and eliminate the filler episodes like them looking for Jack in season 1 and Linden in the Psych Ward in this season and they can actually keep the show compelling and interesting. I'm very surprised that they were actually able to turn it around and make me invested again. A great season finale.

I hadn't seen "Sliders" since it was originally on TV. I saw it on sale a few weeks ago and picked up the first 4 Seasons on DVD. I just finished re-watching the 1st Season.
I forgot how much I enjoyed this show... |

Quote:
School Spirits. Don't bother with this absolute mess of a "real" ghost story. A complete waste of time. Told with real people and actors portraying them, this show is horrible. There is a bi-racial girl who might as well be White as she ignores Eddie Murphy's rule of when a ghost says "get out" African Americans are supposed to say "too bad we can't stay." Not only that but when the girl's Mother arrives at the house, the first thing she does is take her Mother downstairs in the haunted house. Of course, none of the girls actually tell one another about seeing ghosts. Who does that? If the average person sees a ghost, alien, or UFO, I would think they would tell the first person they see.
