Slashers aren't on the top of my list of horror.If i had to name a couple.......Halloween did have some pretty good atmosphere....The Prowler was decent as was The Burning....hell Pyscho was a slasher and Silence of the Lambs might fall into that genre.Maniac....good choice Elvis...lots of movies might fall into that catergory...ok..how about "No Way to Treat a Lady" with Rod Steiger 1968.

Have my own list, Frist the classic Halloween.Second,Pyscho(not the remake!)And the Texas chainsaw massacre,Friday the 13th,Nightmare on elm st.Of course you have the Scream movies and Silence of the lambs too.:D :D

just saw urban legends: bloody mary, and i give it... worst movie everrr.
dont watch it its not even worth a rent. I sorta liked the original Urban Legend slasher. I've only seen it once so maybe i'm thinking of something else, but it was alright.
