Halloween is the best of the leading franchises. But the slasher movie that I enjoyed most was one you've probably never heard of - The Burning. It was made in thr eighties, i saw it on VHS then. Never seen it since.

halloween, i really had to think hard too.
for its time, halloween was like, THE scary movie to see. when thinking, only remembered some crappy choking kills, because that was how he killed most of his victims, and (correct me if i'm wrong), but he killed... 2? with the knife right? But then i remembered the ending sequences, and how jamie lee curtis stabbed him in the eye with the needle and all the chasing in that dark house, and the part when the kids said you can't kill the boogeyman and he ran out after them, and i realized how amazing that movie was. nightmare on elm street was scary too, a close second imo. it scared me when he called and taunted her about killing her boyfriend, and she unplugged the phone, and he called back and it still rang and stuff. I don't remember all the kills in the original noes though, i just remember the boyfriends.

as for ft13th, just a screaming gore fest after the 1st 2. what like 25 kills in the 5th one or something? jeez. i love those movies but they are bloody frickin impossible. the 3rd is the best ;)

has anyone seen the slasher called urban legends: bloody mary? my mom saw it and said it was very scary.

Friday the 13th. Actually, I was gonna say Suspiria, but I don't consider it to be completely a slasher film.
