Dario Argento Back to Giallo in Yellow?
Source: ShockTillYouDrop.com
November 14, 2007

Early rumblings of Dario Argento's next project have floated our way.

An insider tells us the Mother of Tears director may take a crack at a "loving homage" to the giallo films of the '60s and '70s entitled Yellow - an apropos moniker since giallo means "yellow" in Italian and was a popular term used to describe mystery and crime pulp fare.

Argento's Tenebrae, Bird with the Crystal Plummage and Deep Red are all classic and rich with the red stuff examples of gialli.

Hannibal Films' Richard Rionda Del Castro and Rafael Primorac are championing the Yellow script by writers Sean Keller and Jim Agnew. Tuck this under your hat as rumor at this point and keep it here for the latest while we aim to carve up some confirmation.

This is so unbelieveably awesome dude.

I am like freaking out over here because this is back-to-back scripts to amazing directors. I am so excited to watch this all come to life.

Just a little something I made after our phone conversation with the Maestro

We'll have to change the title...I'm open to suggestions. Not the old-school "way too many words: title...selling this to foreign territories means a simple, concise title

Maybe something about a Hunter?

That is so goddamn amazing. I'm pretty good with titles. Can you show me the link to your plot summary again? I've always thought Sharp Enough would be a good title for a giallo.
