I thought Mary Elizabeth Winstead did fine with what she was given. A better director (Cameron, Tarantino, Scott, etc) would have made her one of the best female movie characters.
Are you actually implying that Tarantino would make a good version of The Thing?

The Entity

Brilliant. I think this would rank as my favorite haunting flick.

Predators

Re-watched the series recently and finished it off with this. Great stuff aside from the original this is my favorite.

I watched livid in the Dark on my own but it just didnt work for me .I was very disappointed ,it was full of Beautiful imagery and some great ideas but overall was disjointed and lacked the tension of Inside .It did feature some scissors though -huzzar !

I LOVE that film yes the killer was predictable but the murder set pieces were astounding and there was a lovely brooding atmosphere and reliably strange characters :)

Frozen (2009) I have no idea why I watched this Adam Green directed sack of shit I must have been insanely bored. The only good thing was the bone-crunching gore (which was unsettling) but that wasn't enough to save this movie. The characters were so irritating and idiotic that I had to mute them when they sometimes went too far with their shallow inane drivel. It even had one of the most ridiculously unpalatable cop out endings I've ever seen. Dire.

The Night Stalker (1987) aka "The Man Who Could Not Be Killed"

Nice little 80's supernatural/action/crime movie starring Charles Napier (one of my favorite Character Actors) and Robert Z'Dar. I guess this is the movie that got Z'Dar "Maniac Cop". It's nothing spectacular by any means but worth a watch if you like 80's cinema.

Attack The Block-----not bad....I just find it hard to root for punk-ass kids

Catch 44--- some director trying to be Tarantino....and failing .
