Unthinkable (2010). If the motivation for the whole endeavor had not become absurd at the movie's end this could have been a great thriller.

Could be that I'm biased; I'm from the Boston area and get a certain delight from watching actors who can get the damn accent right (it's not just about dropping your R's, by the way)... Or it could be that this crime drama was a really thrilling character piece with characters whom I honestly cared about. Jeremy Renner is utterly brilliant (definitely deserves the Oscar nod), and Rebecca Hall is incredibly sympathetic. And I don't care what people say about Ben Affleck - While he may be limited, he's talented within his sphere. And apparently a great actor, too.

I loved this film - I was on the edge of my seat, intrigued the whole time. Highly recommend it.

4.5/5
Yeah..it was well made with good characterization but I found the story bit cliched, I mean this kinda plot...bank robber/gangster friends/brothers become enemies/betray one another/tries to come up clean at the end for the love interest is pretty common in Bollywood films now a day with lots of dance numbers & songs.:)

Bad Boy Bubby (1993)

A retarded man child Bubby ventures into the outside world after being imprisoned in a 2 room house by his abusive mother for thirty years! This is one disturbingly funny and crazy story. You can't predict what's going to happen with Bubby in our quite "normal" world.

I'm not sure whether you have seen it or not but like to recommend it to EC, Ferox, NE, CG & PD.:)

Unknown (2011)

Not as good as Taken but a decent watch.

Bad Boy Bubby is one of my all time favorites. Such a unique film that is still fresh after all these years. Brilliant stuff!

"Godzilla: Final Wars"

Last (?) entry in the Godzilla franchise. The first hour is a little dull but the second hour kicks ass as Godzilla fights almost all the monsters in the Toho stable. (best scene: Godzilla destroying his American namesake) Overall, a fun film to watch.

It was the final installment. But now there's going to be a new American take.

I saw The Town and have to agree with Roshiq good film but not amazing but I can see why Chronogrl likes it I agree a little too cliched for my tastes but by no means bad. Finally watched Salo last night and it still won't leave my head haunting me like I have this forum.
