Kick-Ass

Finally saw it this afternoon while the kids were in school. Fun. A little heavy on the needle-drop soundtrack, but good fun stuff. Chloe Moretz is going to be a star.

Shutter Island was ok... I wouldn't go around riding it's dick. Nice to look at but predictable as fuck. Scorsese used to be great but its been years since he put out anything decent.

Until The Light Takes Us

I always enjoy hear Fenriz talk about music and I found the interviews with Varg interesting but on a whole I found this to be disappointing. Poor pacing and shoddily put together this doesn't really live up to the hype that surrounded it.

The Eroticist

Dragged on a bit too long for my liking but there was some really nicely put together sequences and the satire of church and state was sharp.

City of the living dead

You know, it's got some great scenes and all, bit week on the story and what the fuck happens right at the end?

6.5/10

Gutterballs

The characters are the most annoying characters ever put to film. The set looks cool, but that's about it.

2/10

Killer Condom

Great flick, I found it hard to deal with them setting it in American but being German, I haven't seen a flick that did that before. But the humour was good and it was just some tacky fun.

6.5/10

The Seduction of Dr Fugazi

Fucking self indulgent trash. Don't bother. It reminded me of "The Room" the was it was shot, but not funny at all. Not to mention about an hour in the movie makes a complete flip, just when you thought it couldn't get any worse. I wish I had the power to stop watching a movie when it is shit!

0.5/10

Samson and Delialah

This movie won a lot of awards and praise in Australia last year. I thought it was a nicely put together movie, but nothing to really grab hold of you. The petrol sniffing thing gets a bit over done in Aboriginal flicks sometimes.

7/10

Pan's Labyrinth

This made me wish del Toro was directing the upcoming adaptation of The Hobbit, and not merely producing it.

Subspecies

Great film, I really liked this. I can't believe I haven't heard of this until now. I can't wait to watch the sequels.
