i've been going a little nuts - rediscovered the love of buying (vs downloading) music a year or so ago, so i've been hitting the thrift stores looking for OOP releases of things i missed.

Also - i've been going back and buying cds from the 70's

last thing of note: The Roxy Music and Blue Oyster Cult box sets of complete studio recordings

pricy but worth every penny and more

Just discovered Roxy Music. Really great band love the different sides of the band. Quirky art rock to some catchy pop anthems. Will have to delve into Ferry's solo work too.

Love digging round the thrift stores I'll basically go anywhere I can find records

same here .. i had all the vinyl but i was only playing the popular stuff - then i started listening more carefully and it really hit me how powerful all the music was/is.

Roxy Music was my very first concert - i saw them on their final tour ..

(The High Road tour) .. in Ottawa Canada

^ Good seeing your hauls around here again, Elvis.

I recently picked up Swans' "The Seer" on vinyl (got Michael Gira's autograph on it, too, hey hey), The Dead C's "Armed Courage", Can's "Ege Bamyasi", and a killer Neutron Rats tape from last year. You should check out those dudes, Elvis. I think it'd be right up your alley: http://superdarkcollective.bandcamp....ats-rat-people
