Candyman (1992). Hard to believe that i had never seen this wonderful flick. While looking kinda cheesey, this flick deserves to be a cult classic. The story was solid, as was the acting. The direction made for a believably creepy movie, and the score had a disturbingly religious feel. All in all a great horror movie.
Dead Man (1995). One word-brilliant! There is so much to this movie that it would probably be best to see it a few times before making any comments on it. Unfortunately, i am not that intelligent. This is a dreamy movie centering on purgatory, good and evil, and the spiritual sterility of the west. While Johnny Depp and Gary Farmer are wonderful in their leading roles, there is not a bad act in this one, with the likes of Crispin Glover, Robert Mitchum, Iggy Pop, and many others filling in the gaps. The symbolism in the movie is layered like an onion, and the direction and story by Jim Jarmusch is perfect. Shot in black and white, with the occassional transition to sepia and the infrequently obtrusive closeup, this movie is absolutely beautiful. The score by Neil Young not only drives movie forward, but is seemlessly interwoven into the very fabic of the essence of this movie. The very beginning hints that this movie will be better than anticipated for all of those that expect more than just sex and violence from a movie, not that there is anything wrong with that. Ashe. derek

Class of Nuk 'Em High 2
So many tities and ass shots, you kind of forget the story line.... And the story line is pretty forgetable, but it has good gore and some daft slapstick to keep you amused. \ 5/10

Staunton Hill (2009)
Another below average TCM rip off and this time from Cameron Romero...the son of George Romero! Even the tea lady from the TCM remake & the beginning played the role of the mother here. >>: C- Intruder (1988) liked a lot the way it ended. >>: B Homecoming (2009) >>: C Rabid (1977) "Don't let her hug you...the deadly hug!" >>: B+ Offspring (2009) >>: C+
