Try watching good horror movies in the future. Maybe that'll help ya.

Good thing you came across this place just in time.

The best thing about this place is, you learn SO much...And you have really got a LOT to learn if you believe your above statement.

Shaun Of The Dead is AWESOME!!!!...and if you like the 'weird' films, Mum And Dad isn't too bad....

Hang out for a while and you'll be Googling and IMDBing like crazy...You may be surprised at what you'll find over in your neck of the woods ;)

I'm an American. Angra is from Sweden...or Finland....Norway....somewhere over there where they have Vikings.

I'll add to Angra's list

Eden Lake, Shaun of the Dead, Creep.

I'll take any of these over the Saw movies. I liked the first one because of its originality......the rest were just retreads. I'm surprised you like them so much after stating you aren't big on "gore" movies.

Oh, but I love CREEP!...You got me on that one :)

Black Sheep is New Zealand...Not British, but it's over that way, and it's an awesome horror movie, too :)

True actually, I really liked Shaun of the Dead, forgot that one!

Yeah I'm not a big fan of gore, but I find the SAW series is quite predictable, like you know when the gore is going to happen, so I can tolorate that, plus some of it looks really fake. If all else fails and I can't stand to watch, I've found a good solution... shutting my eyes!

Films like The Grudge, Amityville Horror where they are there to make you jump and scare you in that sense, I quite enjoy.

Hehe. The Saw series is a picnic with rainbows and unicorns compared to Braindead AKA Dead Alive. :D

In the 50's through 70s Britain was a haven for great horror. You just need to watch some older stuff. It will also help you get perspective on the genre and encourage people to take you more seriously.
