The Fall

I wasn't too impressed at the start, but once it gets going this is a wonderful movie. It takes a little while before you can really care about the characters or the plot, but once you get to understand Roy's character, the film is absolutely fantastic. Not to mention the visuals, which are mindblowingly gorgeous.

Audrey Rose (1977) 4-5/10

First half was good, last half felt VERY long..

Deathdream (1974) 7-8/10

Totally took me by surprise.

Even tho it was slow paced it never got boring and Richard Backus was perfectly odd, creepy and facinating.

"Taken" 7/10

Good entertainment. Nothing more, nothing less.

I got to see this one on the big screen a couple of years ago.
Lots of fun.

Yea

I read on IMDB that a remake will be made in the near future. I don't think that's such a bad idea in this case. :)

"Fear of the dark" (2002) 5/10

Liked the idea, but... way too much talking and too little horror ruined what could've been a horror classic. A shame since the monsters were actually pretty scary looking.

Earlier today, I watched the movies...

Behind The Mask: Leslie Vernon and Hannibal Rising...

I wasn't too thrilled about Behind The Mask. Hannibal Rising peaked my curiousity. The character Hannibal Lecter is one of my favorite horror characters of all-time. Now as you know, it is hard to compare to the great Anthony Hopkins. The young actor (Gaspard Ulliel) did an ok job.

Merrily We Go to Hell (1932)

Frederic March and Sylvia Sidney both give powerhouse performances as newlyweds whose lives are torn apart by March's character's alcoholism.

A tragic story well told and perfectly performed. Very impressive film.
