I'm actually looking forward to this one. One was one of the the only really entertaining video game movies (Resident Evil being the other one). The second was okay, but I was still pissed off by the missing actors and bad CGI. But, still a good way to pass the time. I have yet to see a Mortal Kombat on the big screen, but hope to break that once this one comes out.

The first two were great, mindless action movies. The kind of movie that requires next to no brain activity, and that's not a bad thing. I enjoyed them both and look forward to the next one.

Help us all....I hated the first two. Dumb effects and stupid scripting. This is one movie I will probably not rent.

but there has not been any new news on it no?
it says it will be released this yr but no more information? it says the actor that plays raden in the first film will be bak? but i am thinking how can they make a 3rd one? cox the emperor died and the evil god (father to raden and the emperor) died? so wat could be next? and if they are making the film hopefully it will have state of the art effects and it would be a big budget film.
