I thought it was hysterical, very outrageous. Most of the time I was too shocked to laugh. The bear was pure genius.
Reminds me a lot of Water's Pink Flamingos (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069089/), which was probably the most outrageous and funny movie I had seen up until Borat. Great movie, also has good shots of Baltimore 30 years ago. |

it was good, but there's no substitute for good, old fashioned comedy. I'll take Airplane! over Borat any day.

I thought this movie was f'ing hilarious. Cohen took the piss out of everyone he came across in the film - none more than Jewish people (and he is Jewish - so I think it's hard to be personally offended by anything in the film).

I thought that his depiction of Americans was right on. As an American, I see this widespread idiocy every day. If anything, he was too kind.
As for the movie itself, I enjoyed it. The first half was great, but the second half did not seem nearly as funny. I couldn't tell if the gag just got old or if the film ran out of steam.
