The Bridge to Teribithia was originally written by a woman who was trying to help her child get over the death of one of their best friends. I thought the film was excellent. You completely did not expect it to happen.

The Gore Gore Girls ~ now THIS is what I was expecting from a HG Lewis film. Completely ridiculous, cheap and over the top. Gory, and fairly entertaining as long as you aren't easily offended or easily grossed out. |

Bridge To Terabithia is a wonderful movie.
Sorry to hear that some of you didnt like it...and I am guessing that came from looking at the trailers and posters, which gave all the wrong impressions about it. It dwelt on one of the most fragile emotions of a child, the imagination...and how parents should cope with it. I thought the makers did a great job in conveying that message. A true gem of modern movie-making.
