The Fountain

I don't know why I hadn't watched this one before. I LOVED it. A movie about themes more than plot, about beauty and life and death. Heavy handed, yes, but in this particular instance I appreciated the overtly romantic tale about two people with very different views about death.

8.5/10

3:10 to Yuma (2007)

Entertaining from start to finish, and packs a powerful punch. Fantastic.

I was finishing up Deadwood Season 3 & Weeds Season 2 and now I'm in to Heroes Season 1 so I havent had a ton of time for movies lately.

Death Proof

This was fun. Good acting, suspense and gore. It was a good road rage/revenge flick and Tarantino's dialogue was excellent. The intentional editing errors were a nice touch too. All in all, this was an enjoyable, original film.

The French Connection

haven't seen this one in years......ya gotta love the 70's cop movies. Not what you would call "politically correct". Good movie though.
