Rise and shine, contestants. It's time for CHALLENGE NUMBER 2!

Before I post it, I need to address something. Since Alky is not responding to his treatment (and its very unlikely that he will be continuing his participation), and I have no new confirmations from any other HDC member, the Slice 'N' Dicers team is free to canvass for a freelance participant who can take over Alky's position in their team. Go ahead, and see if you can find a suitable replacement.

If I get a confirmation in the meantime, too good. He will be immediately drafted in to take over Alky's place.

THE SECOND CHALLENGE OF HDC BATTLE ROYALE III

I welcome back all 3 groups - The Raging Phantoms, Freddy's Slice 'N' Dicers and The Zombie Warriors - to your second HDC Battle Royale III Challenge.

Identify the movies in which these locations/objects play a central role :-

• Arctic Warrior
• Antonio Bay
• Bly House
• Chessman Park
• Cuesta Verde
• Hill House
• Manderley
• Perfection
• Saeki House
• Willowpoint Falls

There are 240 points up for grabs in the above challenge.

The deadline for sending your entries ends on Saturday, 24th April at 12 Noon EST.

You may either send me your entries via PMs, or you may email me at [email protected], mentioning your HDC Nick in the Subject alongwith the Challenge number, for e.g., "__V__ - HDC Battle Royale III Challenge #2 Answers."

You may confer within members of your own team in your quest for the right answers, but each Battle Royale participant should send in their own individual entries.

Remember, team spirit is a surefire winner in this Challenge.

And now for the SHOCKING PENALTY of losing HDC Battle Royale III's Challenge #2 :-


In case your team fails in this Challenge, you all will be let into the Hunting Zone ARMED with an AXE each.

You will then be ordered to track down and choose ONE of YOUR OWN TEAM as a target for your hacking blows. (That is, you all will send me a PM or email telling me which team member OF YOUR OWN TEAM you have chosen to hack with your axes.)

5 hacks will kill a person. Ergo, the contestant who receives 5 hacks will die, and so be OUT of HDC Battle Royale III.

Looks like this one will end on a really close finish...


In a bit of a sad (and expected) news, Alky has not regained consciousness yet. Although not comatose, his condition has been diagnosed as very critical and in need of emergency specialist attention. Right now, he is being flown back to the mainland for ICU treatment.

Sorry SnDs, looks like you will finally need yet another replacement, after all. Good luck finding one before the deadline expires for this Challenge.

It is indeed disappointing to lose contestants this way. First Caenxavier, then Newb and now Alkytrio666.

Good to see two replacement warriors come forward in their places. Find a third one soon, apprentice, or you will lose a hand too!

I will permit someone to replace Alkytrio666 within the deadline put down for the Second Challenge. After that, all the teams will be final and all team-members shall be binding. How you handle them will be upto you, apprentice.
