Oh boy. That last question tells me you missed the whole point. :(

PS. Why does Black Christmas ruin When a Stranger Calls? WaSC is an amazing, amazing film - I saw it after Black Christmas. Is that perhaps why?

****SPOILERS****

The whole tracing the call thing - "The call is coming from inside the house!" was a cool bit from Black Christmas that became the entire plot of When A Stranger Calls.

I liked When a Stranger Calls and think it was a good creepy flick (Carol Kane is so stunningly beautiful in that film) but Bob Clark didn't take too kindly to being ripped off.

Just finished Bleeders. I laughed hysterically once the mutants showed up. The story was just plain silly, and the monsters could have easily been punted like footballs.
It's earned a spot on my "worst movies ever" list. Still, the box is cool.

"Tenacious D - the pick of destiny" 6/10

One big Tenacious D commercial, with Ben Stiller's cameo as the funny highlight.

"Chain reaction aka. House of blood" 7-8/10

I really enjoyed this horror flick. Good horror story, that seemed to avoid most cliches, lots of blood and gore and some good acting from most of the cast. Especially the, to me, unknown Christopher Kriesa did an excellent job in the lead role.

The only annoying thing i can put my finger on, was the ridiculous Yoda-sentences the weird family kept saying. Not only did it sound stupid, but it was also hard to hear what they were actually saying.

But except for the yoda thing and a few semi-bad actors, this movie is very recommendable.
