I loved the story, atmosphere, and setting in that one so much that the dialogue didn't really bother me.

I agree with you,the main gripe with me was the amount of times the soldiers screamed "Asshole" at each other.If you played a drinking game where everyone had to down a shot everytime someone said "Asshole" during R-Point no one would survive past about 45 minutes,and if anybody did survive that far they would most likely be blind anyway and have a problem reading the subtitles! It's still enjoyable though:)

R-Point.
i have to admit - i totally get where Newb is coming from on this one. some things don't translate well cross culturally. i liked the film overall - how it was shot - most of the acting - the idea behind it .. but the actual ghost possession thing was kind of goofy. (no goofier than The Evil Dead i suppose - but that was played for laughs) i got the feeling that you were expected to take R-Point more seriously
