the funny side of Freddy is still cool, especially when he makes some of those jokes, but I agree that he wasn't very funny in part 3, but in part 1 he was sort of comical

Obviously the original is amazing and everyone knows that but my favorite sequel is definetly part 3. I love it, such a great part in the series. The puppet scene is crazy, and scared the shit outta me as a kid. The Freddy Snake was nicely done. Plus Nancy was in this one, so it had to be good :D
There's some great kills in every movie, i like the cockroach kill in part 4 and even though Freddys Dead sucked, i like the deaf guy kill, lol. Freddy > Jason

I would think more snake like...what with swallowing prey in a similar method to a snake? But hey, if you see this as a phallic representation, perhaps you're looking just a bit too hard - might wanna look into that. As for the tongue thing, so? He did a tongue thing in the first one (down the phoneline) too, Freddy is a sick perv trying to weird out his victims - did he go to rape them? no. He's a sick and demented killer who enjoys toying with his victims, largely around, but not exclusive to, their personal fears. I think in terms of sexual content, considering the time of the majority of the series and the number of installments, they're actually comparatively mild in terms of the genre/time.
