They were supposed to build one about 10 minutes from my house, but they opened a giant Bargain Shop in the building instead.
Welcome to New Brunswick

I heard it was a little weak compared to Aronofsky's other films, but apparantly its good?

i loved it, and i can't imagine how incredible it would have been had aronofsky not had to go through so much bullshit to get the thing made.

it's quite an epic scope, but it's perfectly understated so that it doesn't come off as being pretentious, or anything like that. the visuals are stunning, and everything else is solid.

Watched both of these during the time I was away from here, and I couldn't agree more. Both are excellent and very well done, and I recommend them very highly to anyone that still hasn't seen them. Its driving me a little insane not being able to see [Rec], and we have had The Fountain here for months, and haven't watched it yet. Will do so very soon. |

This movie has one of the most powerful, heartbreaking endings that I've ever seen, and I think anyone that has been in high school in the past few years should see it immediately. It tells it's story in a similar fashion to Gus Van Sant's Elephant, but it works way better here.
