I agree to a certain extent that character development is important but i found there was too much of it.Take another look at the first series, honestly, how much zombie action was there,if i am to be honest not a great deal, apart from the opening episode that is which was great. Dont get me wrong,i loved the show but it needed...........more of what a zombie show should be and thats zombies. |

We disagree.
Use something sparingly and it's more effective. |

Yes,the first two episodes of the first series had quite a bit of action but then it tailed off.:(

I'm hoping to get caught up on the first season before the second season premieres on Sunday.

The show is intended to be character centered over effects. Supposedly they wanted for season 2 to have more indoor shooting and more implied horror (hearing zombies outside without showing them, etc...) to save money so seeing how the show is really a character study with a horrific backdrop - this might actually play in their favor. |

I`m all in favour of characterisation but not for the majority of the show.It is the same for other series like Heroes and Lost for example, far too much time is on characters that when something happens it is a long time coming.
All i am asking is for more zombie action thats all. |

Just watched the third episode. More character driven than zombie. I think you saw two zombies. But that's OK, because I got caught up in the story of the sheriff's deputy finding his wife and son, and wondering if he would figure out that his best friend is boinking his wife. :D
