The Beer Thread
One for the beer aficionados on here. This was always interesting in the past so let's see what everyone's having!
On this morning's menu (I work nights haha) is a Bitburger Pilsner. One of my go to $2.50 cans. Pretty nice stuff not to rough or overpowering tasting. |

Nothing too exciting, but when I drink beer, I like Foster's lager.

I remember Fosters.
Weird that we don't even have it HERE much any more. I'm pretty much a green guy, but a few of my favourites: Coopers (au) RED Schneider weiss Grolsch Stella Artois Kilkenny James Squire - pretty much their whole range. My absolute favourite? This guy right here:

Fosters used to be everywhere over here but I haven't seen it round much at all the last few years. Wouldn't mind trying it again.

That Franziskaner looks tasty. Wheat beer?
Cooper's Red is one of my favorites especially in the big bottles. Green is great too but definitely love the red. Been rocking their Session Ale a lot recently too. |

They've got 3 in their main range, but this is the one I prefer out of all of them...it is honestly, the best commercial beer I've ever had. Amazingly smoothe, easy to drink, full flavoured, great bubble/head consistency, actually SMELLS delicious. Refreshing and crisp...but somehow more full bodied than you'd think that attribute would allow for. There's probably WAY better German beers, but this is sure the best I've cone across. Seriously, if you can get even the bottled version - grab yourself four. Quote:

Ahhh I remember that the last beer thread got me jealous at all the stuff I can't find over here.... damn that stout looks tasty. Really grown fond of stouts and dark beer in general over the years.

We have about 30 craft breweries in my little state. A lot of them specialize in the juicy IPAs , which I'm fond of. This is one of my favorites.
and wow...is that picture BIG |

Actually did a little hunting for Foster's lager. Used to love drinking it with a pour of lime cordial. Not in my locals now but it used to be.
