Nah, Australia has never had any good horror movies really and there have hardly been any made so it wouldn't be all that great trying to get attention to a film by promoting it in a place like that.
Overseas has a wider audience for this sort of thing. |

I'm not too fond of any of those films and they aren't exactly horror. Horror is the most lacking genre in Australian film.
Been a while since I've seen any of those Mad Max films so I can't remember if I liked them or not. I'm sure I thought they were average. |

Dead Calm is a brilliant horror/thriller starring Nicole Kidman and Billy Zane. I think it's a great. Just my opinion though. And Mad Max is anything but mediocre. I love these films. Man, if you can't remember The Road Warrior, you should go back and watch it. It's a post-apocalyptic classic. Is Undead Australia's first big horror film (other than Dead Calm)? Surely there are others.
