Scary movie

Hi everyone i need your help to find the scariest movie to watch, it has to have the following abilities, 1 it has to be super scary without being cheesy, 2 i want it to give me wake up screaming whilst drowning in sweat nightmares. The only film to ever do this to me was the G.A.Romero Dawn of the Dead. I saw it for the first time when i was 7 n a half yrs old and to this day i still wake up screaming and soaked in sweat, it's the best adrenalin rush ever. can anyone suggest a film?

There lies the problem. Unless you can find a DeLorean and go back to when you were 7....chances are you're not going to be waking up with night sweats anymore because of a movie.

but then , even if you do find the DeLorean and manage to travel back, you will still be your current age so only your 7 year old self will get the thrill of night terrors

I second that. Movies just can't scare you the same way they did as a child. I wish they could.

The Descent is in the top 3 of scariest movies I've ever seen. Go see that!

I find the japanese versions of 'The Grudge' and 'The Ring' scary too, and the american remake of 'Shutter'.

Quarantine is pretty scary too. Especially the last 20mins. :o

I still think Lucio Fulci's unofficial "Gates Of Hell" trilogy of films (City Of The Living Dead, The Beyond (especially this) and House By The Cemetery) are tough to beat in pure scariness-the sheer scope of horror of The Beyond will never cease to scare me.
