Shock value

anyone read this new nonfiction book about all the horror greats from the 70s?

i kept seeing it on blogs, in magazines, newspaper reviews, etc. i guess the guy who wrote is a new york times reporter so he must have contacts.

anyway, i found SHOCK VALUE really disappointing. well-written but really just a collection of behind-the-scenes stories(most of which i've already heard). in the end i felt the author thought it was more clever and novel than it was.

No....and after your review most likely won't.
