My Film Idea
Back in 2012 I started putting together a horror film I called The Woodland Torture Tapes. I had a script, filming location, special effects and was putting together a cast, I even made a trailer to get people behind it.
Needless to say, my cast bailed on me two different times so I scrapped the project. I recently came up with the idea to revamp it keeping the title but changing the story. What if the film is a series of snuff films edited together into a feature length film along with background music, visual work and so on like the killer wanted to turn his work into art and when it is finished he sends it to the police and this is the film. This would be easier for me because I could film it over time and only need to deal with one person at a time. I have lots of music recorded and I own Sony Vegas so I think I could make this work. What do you guys think of the idea? |

It could work it there was an overall thing. Have a guy stumbling across a box of VHS snuff tapes or something.
Dealing with one or two people at a time would make things a lot easier. Go for it pal

Making films is fun, so why not. Take your time with it and baby it along. Let the pieces fall into place for you.

Love the Blair Witch feel. Judging by people today, you will need to see Myrick and Sanchez to view what you've done before any profits come your way from your movie. You know, copyright law and all.
