I've got this one. I got it shortly after it came out in Australia but only play it occasionally. Not that it's a bad game, just that I don't have all that much time to play, and have to spread the time out over a few games that I like... :(
It has great atmosphere, and the combat system seems to be a bit more precise/difficult than HL2 which is a nice change. I recently upgraded my system, so FEAR is even better now that I can play with everything on max and still get very good frame rates.

I am a HUGE fan of FEAR. The last 20 minutes or so are unbelieveably intense, and the ending nearly made me shit myself. It is amazing.
