Any suggestions?

I'll probably head out later today and get a couple of movies to add to my horror DVD collection. However, I don't seem to have any in mind! If you find the time, could you browse my collection and offer a couple of suggestions to get my mind jogging? I'd appreciate it.

I don't know if your into asian horror or not but a couple of good ones would be "The Eye" ,"JU-ON THE GRUDGE", watch both of these before the Hollywood remakes which are on the way. "Battle Royale" I watched last night and thought it was excellent.

"The Changeling" is a great ghost story that still gives me goose bumps. If your into a few laughs with your gore "Dead-Alive" would fit the bill.Re-Animator is not on your list , which is a must own for any horror buff.

I do like Asian horror, and have seen The Eye. That's a good suggestion. Re-Animator is one of my favorite horror films, but I have to drive for an hour to get it. I might get Dead Alive ... I'm not a big fan of gore, though. Even though I thought this movie was hilarious. Thanks newb!

Well, for a not-so-great movie with an AWESOME freak-out ending, i would recommend Sleepaway camp. Dont let the kids see the end, it WILL scar them.

Sleepaway Camp. Gotcha. I think I have seen this -- though it has been a LONG time. I don't remember it. I know I have seen one or two of the sequels, and wasn't that impressed. But I will check it out. Thanks, Vod!

No problem! I have never seen the sequals, never cared to. i actually thinkit is a pretty lame movie overall (many would disagree), but the ending is shocking. I dont want to blow it if you havent seen it or dont remember it, but i actually shouted "Holy shit!" the first time i saw it...

I'd suggest, 'Near Dark'. Wait til Aug 10th to get 'The Lost Boys' when the two disc set comes out. Also wait til Sept 7th to purchase 'Dawn of the Dead' (1978) when the four disc set comes out. The set contains the original release, the original UK release, the un-rated version (i think) and an extras disc.
'Bad Taste' Special Edition
If you like Italian horror, I recommend: Zombi or The Beyond by Lucio Fulci

Just listen to this sentence and tell me what it means. I haven't seen Evil Dead II yet? Would you get the impression that i wanted to see it? Oh, well you couldn't have been dying to see it or else you would have already gone. So in your opinion would I definitely see it?
How the fuck should I know probably!
Why? Because it's a brilliant film, it's so funny, and the soundtrack kicks fucking ass!

Cool ideas! Thanks, Camper! What is Near Dark about? I almost remember seeing this ... the title is so familiar.

Any of the Universal Legacy collections need to be in any horror fans library.
