Lovely Molly

What were all your thoughts on this film, Lovely Molly?

I watched it the other night with the girlfriend. She claimed to have nightmares after watching. To me the nature of the film was unique aside from the first person perspective of the hand held camera. I thought that made the movie pretty cheesy. I did enjoy the premise of the movie and the over all execution.

in my book I give it a 3.5 out of 5.

Quite enjoyed it, although couldn't say it was a fantastic film. The performance of the lead actress Gretchen Lodge was utterly incredible, especially given the difficulty of the material.

As a side-note, the director was Eduardo Sánchez; the director of Blair Witch Project.

I've seen it on Netflix but haven't been able to pull the trigger on it yet. I might take a look at it.

Yeah, 3.5 stars out of 5 sounds about right. The movie really builds over the hour and a half. I was bored the first few minutes but the ending was somewhat eerie. I tend to shy away from "quiet" horror though.

I'm in the minority I think, but I really liked it; I thought that it built suspense successfully and that she was a great actress. I can see where people didn't like it (it did have its weaknesses), but I found it genuinely atmospheric and a solid little horror movie.

Just looked up my review in the Last Seen Movie Thread and I gave it a 3.75/5, which seems about right to me.
