X-Files is coming back!

Anyone hear the wonderful news? They are bringing The X-Files back! And Molder and Scully will be in it part time! This I have high hopes for, the series was killed off completely wrong. Fingers and toes crossed.

Thanks for supplying the link Hammerfan, I had to work... stupid work. Im excited, I loved the X-Files. Im just worried it will feel like Supernatural if they aren't careful.

You're very welcome. I'm at work myself. It's slow right now, so had time to look it up. Supernatural was good for the first 7 years!

X-Files went down the bad path like Supernatural before that show. I don't think it should come back. But since everything is a remake or reboot now. I guess they think why not? After the first movie the show dropped a bit. Once Mulder left that was it. The second movie was barely passable entertainment. That really should be it for the show. It was great right up to that season after the movie. Fans should just rewatch that if they want to see The X-Files.

I think almost all shows fail when they try to stretch things out beyond reason. Then few try to recapture the magic of the classic stuff and it rarely if ever works.

People are to hard on reboots. Im all for it. It will give me something fresh to sit my kids down to and get them into the genre. If we keep refreshing things we can keep the genre alive. Horror is broken and hurting right now. The current generation has few examples of good horror and no interest in watching anything pre HD. If we get caught up in living on the classics, horror will cease to exist. So I say, bring on the reboots, remakes, reimaginings, and so on.
