Drive-In

Anybody go to the Drive-ins anymore?

back when I was a wee newb there were over a dozen "Drive-Ins" in my area. Now we are down to 1. They are doing a "Retro" weekend on Labor Day.
just may do the Jurassic Park / Jaws combo.

I'm jealous! When I was a little hammerfan, we had lots of drive-ins, now there are NONE!

Enjoy!

Me and my wife have been going to the drive in for the last two years to celebrate our second date. We recently saw Guardians of The Galaxy and Into the Storm

kind of an odd pairing but I don't think we saw much of the second feature....if ya get my drift

I live 1/4 of a mile from a Drive-In, but unfortunately they never have anything I want to see. I think the last time I was there was to see Unforgiven with Clint Eastwood.

They've never done a retro night. I wish they would. It's always an Animated Kids movie followed by a Romantic Comedy. I have no kids and I've only ever had girlfriends in the winter when they're closed so I've had no reason to go.

When my kids were young(80's early 90's) we loved taking them to the drive-in. There was a playground of sorts up by the screen that all the kids would play at until it started to get dark. We'd have the van loaded with chips, pop and licorice etc. We saw our fair share of movies but "Goonies"stands out the most!
Sadly, they have all been closed for years and I would have loved to continue the tradition with my grandchildren.

That sounds a lot like me and my wife's second date. We saw Savages and The Bourne Legacy. Don't remember much of Bourne Legacy.
