Almost missed out on scaring trick or treaters cause of a damn stomach flu, but I made it through the night! Burnt out a touch early, but the crowd had died down to little to nothing by then. We get less than a hundred visitors (like 60 or 70 something I think?) around here being more out in the country. And that's going to my friend's house cause there are literally no trick or treaters that come by my place. It makes me sad.

That's been on my to do list for a while now. Been really wanting to do it lately, but I don't have a big enough skull I'm willing to sacrifice for the project.

Really a great place and time to publicly memorialize loved ones who've passed on.
I been puttin' off goin' fer the past few years even tho some family, some friends, and some pets have passed in recent years...just didn't wanna face up to it ya know?

I've wanted to celebrate Dia de Muertos since I was in middle or elementary school. Wasn't raised the least bit Hispanic though so it felt weird to want to try celebrating even on my own. But it sounds like such a good time, and I have so much fascination/respect for the dead it's just taunting me to join in the festivities!
