Mickey Rourke's post-Oscar nomination dance card is filling up fast, including a turn in director Sylvester Stallone's next film The Expendables.

Now the British tabloids are suggesting that Rourke and Stallone may reunite for the fifth installment in one of the latter's most popular franchises.

According to The Sun, the two actors met recently in Los Angeles where "Sly begged Mickey to sign for Rambo V. Mickey said he was up for it."

The paper claims Rourke would play the villain in the film, which they add would shoot later this year.

Stallone recently confirmed that there will be a Rambo 5, but "the conflict is whether to do it in America or a foreign country."
