Passengers

This would've been a lot better if they had just stuck with the story they introduced in the beginning.

SPOILERS

The story of Chris Pratt's isolation slowly driving him insane until he's met with the dilemma of whether to live out the rest of his life alone or damn someone else to his situation was a great ethical question and led to an interesting story.

Then they had to ruin it by turning it into another sci-fi disaster movie that actually vilified his actions. What he did was understandable but also terrible but the last part of the movie not only said that what he did was basically okay but necessary or else everyone else would've died on the ship. It ruined what up to that point was a great story. Because of that it just ended up as an okay cliched film that will ultimately be pretty forgettable.
