Generally speaking, I put all Godzilla movies under the wide category of Horror, as they are technically 'monster movies'. They sometimes were played on Horror TV programs like Monstrous Movies, Creature Feature, etc.
Some Godzilla films have horror, sci-fi, fantasy, some were campy for kids, most a mix of genres. There's a wide variety.
