2015 movie of the year and already a classic imo. Just great, bloody fun!
Even better if you appreciate or have some knowledge of metal music.

There's already a script for a sequel, which is supposed to be even bloodier, but there were (are?) some practical problems so they haven't started production yet.

Tweet from the writer/director:
"So I just finished this. There is literally more gore in the first 10 minutes than the entire first #deathgasm. If you kinda liked the first, this will make your head implode. If you thought the first 'Deathgasm' was puerile, juvenile and dumb then 'Goremageddon' will melt your face off and force you to barricade yourself inside, safe with some Terrance Malik and Coldplay."

Thumb resize.

Besides Deathgasm, New Zealand/Australia has been releasing some good stuff over the last couple of years: Fresh Meat, Housebound, What We Do In The Shadows, These Final Hours, The Dead Lands, Wolf Creek 2,...
All better than average, some quite original, so kudos to down under!

Much agreed, I love Housebound. I hear its a lot cheaper to make movies in Australia than the US. Canada too, that's why they are filming IT in Canada.
