I'll tell ya, I definitely have spent time trying to find movies I saw once upon a time. I saw one just recently, "Monster from the Ocean Floor," and I haven't seen that since the early 70's, I had a dim memory of one or two images and I spent a good long time asking experts, and eventually I got hold of the movie and watched it and yes, that is indeed the movie I remember, with the cyclopean monster with the tentacles swimming around.
