Is that the Video Recordings act? Video Nasties? Makes sense that it would have reached you in ireland. That just sucks.

I like a ton of stuff and in almost every genre. I'm with you on the kung fu, and the only blaxploitation I like would be the Blacula films and some comedies from the 70's.

There's too many nuns in my family for me to watch nunsploitation! it just feels weird.

Now as for sexploitation,...if it's something like Satan's Cheerleaders I'm definitely a big time fan, but I have to agree that a lot of that subgenre is just ubersoft porn, and that's not any fun.

My favorite subgenre is something I call " 70's Drive-in Super Crap ". Titles like The Creature From Black Lake, Horror High (aka Twisted Brain), Crater Lake Monster, Grizzly, Day of the Animals, and even the aforementioned Satan's Cheerleaders. These are the films I would drag my Mom to the theater to see when I was a kid, and they still keep me entertained to this day.I think its a mix of the easy pace, the campy dialogue, and the nostalgia. These flicks make me feel good.
