Johnny's pretty firmly grounded in horror, it's funny, but it's pretty horrific too. It's pretty spazzy and annoying sometimes, but it captures depression, insanity and the fact that society gives us nothing worth relating to in a scary, surreal and fun way, so you could call it a horror comic.
