typically the intoduction board is for saying hi - who you are - as a prelude to start posting.
i personally dont care either way but to just make a post about some other site before anything else - well, people tend to have a bit of fun with that.
(some nastier than others)
after you're here for a while then its easier to rodrick usher spam all you rodrick usher want.
