It's the shortest of the three versions. There is less gruesome stuff (but still plenty of it), some different dialogue, scenes added (The talk which reveals the "Delicate condition" of Fran), scenes deleted (such as 95% of the Police Dock portion) and some different musical cues; I believe all are from Goblin.
Hope this helps. Still worth checking out, but I'll always reach for the other versions; The theatrical version that I saw so many times at Midnight Movies/VHS ( I believe George preferred this cut of the film) and usually the extended version , which has more grue.
