This Halloween weekend will see the first Grimm Up North Horror film festival take place in Manchester, at the Odeon cinema Printworks. Taking place over the weekend of the 29th October to 1st November, the festival will open up on the Thursday evening with the premiere of The Descent 2, then over the weekend will see screenings of Gnaw, Dread, Vampire Girl Vs Frankenstein Girl, Someones Knocking At The Door, Grace, Splintered, Bathory and many more along with screenings of classics such as Hellraiser, Dawn Of The Dead, and Halloween. Aswell as films there will be q and a's with cast and crew, exhibitions, a film fair, and also a chance to play the demo of the Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, not due out till December for the Nintendo wii. Where also coinciding this festival with the zombie aid zombie walk, happening on the 1st November, where we will be trying to break the world record for the largest zombie walk! Tickets are £27.50 for Friday and Saturday day passes, and £23.50 for Sunday day passes, and £5.00 for individual film tickets, available from the Odeon website (see link below).
