- [rec] (2007) (though - baha - the description says "from the people who brought you Quarantine") - It's the Spanish infection film that everyone's been talking about!
- May (2002) - One of my favorite indie horror flicks ever. Fantastic character piece. Tortured and awesome.
- Ju-On (The Grudge) (2002) - The iconic Japanese original
- The Cottage (2008) - From the makers of Severance, here is another British horror comedy, but definitely more subtle and favored more by people around here - I liked it and will most likely be checking it out
- Jaws, Jaws II, and Jaws III - They really need no introduction
- Abre Los Ojos (Open Your Eyes) (1997) - The Spanish original that inspired the insipid Vanilla Sky with Tom Cruise... Definitely quite a bit better, though if I recall the plot rambles a bit and the "point" loses a bit of its intended punch
- The Sixth Sense (1999)
