scariest horror game ever?
 

personaly my opinion on this one must be silent hill 2...or system shock.
havent played silent hill 3 yet though...was it any good?

I think the first Silent Hill was the scariest game ever. I just didn't know what to expect when playing it. Oh, and Clock Tower used to scare the hell out me when I was younger. Every time that little bastard would jump out of nowhere with those huge ass scissors gave me a heart attack.

I never played it, but I did hear that it was based on actual events, although I can't find much information on that though for some reason... oh well...

Also... "avenger00soul" has beaten "horror" for the most posts... I think there's gonna be some major rivalry going here!

Haha, I don't think there's any rivalry. The only fight on this board appears to be with thehalk and HalkX.

i would have to agree with Silent Hill 2 being the scariest game i have played. you never knew when someone was going to scurry out from under a van or something

The only game I ever played that made me jump was the original Resident Evil. Those damn dogs!!!

i remember always throwing the controller 6 ft in to the air each time one of those zombie things came out from under a car!

Silent Hill and SH2...fucking disturbing ass games.

Clockwork something was also very frightful

Alone In The dark was very chilling to say the least
