Man Tells Police There Might Be Body In His Home

State College, Pennsylvania -- Officials said a man who walked into the police station told them there might be a body in his house. And when officers went to his home in State College, they found a man bludgeoned to death on the kitchen floor.

Andrew Rogers, 28, was arraigned Tuesday on first- and third-degree murder charges and was held without bail.

Centre County District Attorney Michael Madeira said the victim had been struck at least a half dozen times with a wooden rolling pin, at least twice with a beer bottle and nearly a dozen times with a wooden baseball bat.

Police are withholding the victim's identity pending notification of his relatives in Korea.

Officials said a bloody baseball bat was found near the kitchen doorway of Rogers' home and bloody clothing was in a hallway.

State College Police Chief Tom King said drugs also were found in the home.

Man Tells Police He Woke Up On Top Of Dead Body

State College, Pennsylvania -- The lawyer for a State College man charged with the murder of a man found bludgeoned to death in his home said it could be a matter of self-defense.

The lawyer for Andrew Rogers, 28, said his client was being robbed in his own home, and a person has the right to use deadly force when that happens.

Rogers reportedly told police that he, the alleged victim and a third man were in his apartment on Feb. 23. Police said Rogers confronted the third man after finding him looking through some cash, and a fight ensued.

Police said Rogers said he woke up to find himself on top of the victim. On Monday, he went to a police station in Uniontown, more than 100 miles away, and said there might be a body in his kitchen.

LOL!!! Oh by the way, there might be a dead corpse lying around some place.

It sounds like old Andy here was holding out for that outside chance the guy might just have been unconscious got up and shown himself out after being attacked with weapons the Pillbury's Doughboy would've used.....but only if he was really pissed off.
