Ichi the killer Anime??

I saw this available at a store nearby...I've not seen the original film (although based on what I've heard, I should), but, does anyone know anything about the animated one?

It's $10AUD new and sealed at my local pawnbroker shop...worth it?

buy it anyway.

Uh....yeah....

So, if anyone can actually tell me anything about the animated film, it'd be much appreciated.

from what i have heard it could have been better. but that is what has been said by people who have already seen the movie, they said they went into it expecting it to be amaxing because of the movie. but I suppose if you havent yet seen the movie t might just well be worth it. Personally as a collector of such things id say check it out anyways:D

thats pretty cheap, I've found it at the regular places I buy, for around $16.94AUD, when converted from Uk £.

I do have the 3 disc Ichi The Killer boxset (see pic), that has both the film and the Anime on their own discs plus a 3rd disc with loads of extras. It's a nice looking boxset aswell. However, I've never got round to watching the Anime, so can't help you there.

btw the film in the boxset is edited, by how much I'm not sure, but it is still very graphic.
