So what comics would you like to see made into films?

The topic says it all. I'd like to see films made out of Transmetropolitan (one of the best comics of recent years, check it out if you haven't already), Blue Monday, and of course, The Sandman. Of course, none of these are very likely. Due to the length and complexity of the stories (especially Sandman) they'd have to make a series of three hour movies like Lord of the Rings. It would still be pretty cool to see though.

Batman - The Killing Joke
Blood and water
Y - The last man, in 3 parts.
The walking dead
A GOOD, dark wolverine movie
Preacher
Blood and Shadows
House of Secrets
Girls
Warren Ellis's Scars

The 30 days of night series would be cool if done properly, each series would work as a movie. I think they're already doing the first one....could be ok.

And I think 100 Bullets would be good...but it'd have to be more of a series.

Samurai - Heaven and Earth would be excellent, but I doubt it'll ever happen, as a film coming out called "the promise" seems to have more or less the same premise.

That was a amazing comic. Wish I still had it.

I'd like to see Peter Bagge's comics Hate made into a film. An animated flick of this would be great.

If you get a soulseek or dc++ account, I can send it across, or I could just email it...if you don't mind reading it on your pc that is. I agree on your views of the comic, especially the conversation towards the end...definitive shit.

I got a few issues of hate, seems a little like mad magazine from what I've read so far.

Ya think? I thought it was more like the late 60s underground comix (think Rip Off Press/Robert Crumb) done grunge style.

I'll keep hunting for The Killing Joke I'd rather have the real thing, cheers for the offer tho dude.
