Trevor Henderson's mock cryptids

You've probably heard of his stuff like "Cartoon Cat", "Sirenhead", or "Long Horse" but personally speaking all of his best cryptids have been one-offs. Sirenhead is an overdesigned Slenderman knockoff and there's nothing inherently threatening about the design, Cartoon Cat has never seemed like it blends in with its environments enough to seem uncanny and threatening, and Long Horse doesn't have an intimidating design.

But images like this one work like charms on me:

Maybe it helps that it seems so singular, that he didn't go back to the design again and again to a point where it got kind of normalized, etc. Maybe on some subconscious level, it just feels off to have a whole bunch of images of the monster instead of a one off if I'm only hearing about it through an internet post.
